Neighborhoods
Kimball Jct is home to Redstone Center offering great shopping, movies and restaurants. Many of our newest reasonably priced townhomes, condos, condo hotel units and single family homes are in this area--not to be overlooked!! Many have great views. All are near the Swaner Nature Preserve, a 2000 acre open space area full of wildlife! This area overlooks the Winter Sports Park--home of the Alf Engen Ski Museum, ski jumping, Luge and Bobsled. Old Ranch Road and Trailside Park---Areas 13 and 1
Old Ranch Road offers a wonderful mix of beautiful ranch properties, many with fabulous resort views and acreage. These neigborhoods are a short walk from Trailside Park-- and Trailside elementary school.
Old Town-area 1
This is the original Park City! This is old, mixed with new and funky! Homes include historic miners cabins and there are many new renovated homes with The original downtown "Old Town" nestled below. These homes are colorful and fun. If you like being close to the action--this is for you. Tons of great restaurants, art galleries and fun shops to check out. You can ski right into town from Park City Resort on the town bridge.
Park Meadows
Well established primary residential area with a mix of homes and town homes. Many of these homes offer views of the resorts and surround the Park Meadows Golf Course. Also all of these homes offer close proximity to the Racquet Club--a local fitness/pool/tennis facility.
Pinebrook-area 15
Located 10 minutes from Park City proper, and an easy commute to Salt Lake City. This large extended neighborhood offers many homes and townhomes in various price ranges. This area is set in the hills and offers trees, views and lots of wildlife--especially moose and deer. The wildlife, views and the network of trails are perfect for that morning run or hikes. Also with the new shopping plaza at Quarry Jct--all the basic needs are at our fingertips". Here you get a little more privacy and trees.
Prospector
Parts of prospector are from the earlier days of Park City. There is a Victorian theme in many of the homes and is located across from the High School and near the Rail Trail. There are many condos and vacation homes in this area as well new homes with the Park City feel in Chatham Hills.
Silver Springs
This area includes Ranch Place, Northshore, Southshore, and Snyder's Mill. These neighborhoods are centrally located and are among the most popular neighborhoods in the area. The Jordanelle--Areas 23 24, and 25.
This area surrounds the Jordanelle Reservoir. This was a very fast moving and changing area, located just 5 minutes outside Park City. Current economic conditions for new development has curtailed the growth in this area. Most neighborhoods are established, and include Deer Mountain, Deer Canyon Preserve, Victory Ranch, Hideout Canyon, Tuhaye, The Shores, Stillwater, Deer Crest, and Star Harbour. These areas offer something for everyone--with the views of the Jordanelle being the common denominator. Many homes also have fabulous mountain views. Additional new developments will be coming over the next several years. This area is speculated to be very hot once economic conditions subside; sometimes called “Little Tahoe.”
Thaynes Canyon--area 2
Here is a well established neighborhood with full time residents. These homes offer lots of trees and larger lots and wrap around the Park City Public Golf Course.
The Aerie
This is a beautiful and prestigious area with exceptional views of Park City. Top of the mountain feel from these homes and townhomes. This is a high end area with a mix of full time and seasonal homeowners. Central location, close to town.
Upper Deer Valley--area 5
This location is "mid mountain" in Deer Valley --also known as the Silver Lake area and home of the infamous McHenry's Beach. Several World class restaurants and spas are located here as well as Stein Erickson Lodge. Homes and condos are very high end and many have ski in/out access.
Deer Crest--area 4
Luxury gated community on the east side of Deer Valley Resort. This is primarily a second home community with great views and ski in/out ability from every home. These are high end, luxury homes with private ski trails and access to the Jordanelle gondola. This area will soon be home to the luxurious, 5 Star, St. Regis Hotel.
Golf Course Communities
Tuhaye, Promontory and Glenwild. These are the the top three with amazing amenities---NOT limited to golf. There are many more than we mention here--several in the Heber Valley. All very beautiful with lots and homes for sale---each has a different flavor.
